Did you go to the link for www.scamfreezone.com? They are advertising all types of directories. From what I gathered from the website you are just buying listing of companies that hire home workers. I did some reading once and found that often they just let a regular employee work part-time out of their home or something like that and ended up in the book of resources. The information is often outdated in directories. You might check with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's Office in the state where they are and see if there have been complaint's. Just keep in mind it is a directory of maybe possibilities. It would be different than Workamper News in that they list actual open positions versus a list of places that might or may have at one time hired employees for that type of work - big difference. RE: Pennies Not Welcomed At Bank
In our town, they are collecting pennies for "Pennies For The Park" and will use them in trying to break the world record in I think July with 40 miles of pennies. So pennies might just become scarce here for awhile. So, start a fundraiser! I wonder what happens when they take them to the bank to try to deposit them?

RE: From tent to pup to rv now back to tent
We started off with a tent 20 years ago, went to an old tent trailer, to an older Class C Mini Winnie, to a nice used pop-up, to the nicest new pop-up, to a small travel trailer, to a fifth-wheel and back to a tent now. We considered getting or building a small trailer but with the tags, insurance and the lack of fresh air (we liked the tent campers but with the cost of gasoline and everything else...) and the general hassle of maintenance it looks like we are going to stay with the nearly new LLBean super big tent. We have lots of goodies to go with it. We didn't like the totally enclosed RVs as they seemed like little mobile homes and we enjoy the sounds of quiet mixed with critter calls - it was awesome in the desert. Now, if at mid-50's I wonder if we shouldn't invest in some nice cots though because the air mattresses leave something to be desired. Cathy

Any Great Tenting Spots in KS/MO/OK
Well, the vacation will have to be nearby this year. We are looking for something mostly geared towards "camping" away from RVers where we can set up our tent and just enjoy the area. We are in SE Kansas and not really familiar with the area but know Central Kansas (Salina, Junction City areas) so maybe we'll go up that way. We have considered Oklahoma and also Missouri since we are close to both state lines. We would probably be spending 4 or 5 days with ourselves, our son who is 21 years old and has Down syndrome and 1 or 2 larger dogs. Thanks, Cathy

Yes, that is the one and I would love to see pictures of the one that was enlarged. We were considering building something like a teardrop until gas went up, up and away out of line. Our tent is nearly new and we have all kinds of stuff but being in our mid-50's tenting will be enough challenge at this point so a little organization would go a long way I think. Thanks, Cathy

RE: Do you have to use hot water?
I always kept a little spray bottle like you can get in the cosmetics department filled with water and about 1 teaspoon of liquid dish soap. We never let the dishes sit and dry with food on them. Just a squirt and a quick brush over and a shoot of regular tap water. Dr. Gott in the newspaper said in one of his articles that you don't need to wash dishes in hot water. Now if you love those greasy, unhealthy foods or love to let your dishes sit dirty....

We had a Eureka for several years and it was so superior to the "cheapies". Now we have a large tent from LLBean which is very nice. We saw the LLBean tent on clearance on their website and since we bought so many other items we loved from them and the customer service is very good, we decided to go with LLBean over Eureka. The Eureka has so many levels of quality now that it made it difficult to chose. We shop for our camping gear through www.campmor.com. The LLBean website has other camping info and gear. Always beware of the time they say it takes to put the tent up - it always takes much, much longer for us - maybe the problem is we are slow? Cathy

Mother Earth's "Consolidated Camper"
Has anyone built one of Mother Earth's Consolidated Campers? We bought the plans on sale for about $5.00 so no great lose if we don't build it but it is built on a small frame (40 x 48 inches) and has tent storage and other small storage areas with a back door that lifts, almost like a teardrop, with shelf, drawers and a insulated cold box. Right now we are trying to price the materials to see if it is something we want to do - materials are so expensive these days but would be nice to have all the gear in one place instead of 2 or 3 different areas (where ever there is space to stash something).

Dutchmen Motorhomes?
Dutchmen Motorhomes, are they any better than the travel trailers? Has anyone had one for more than a couple years? If so, what sort of warranty work, etc. had to be done? I thought that I had read several things a couple years ago about a legal case, probably lemon law, involving Dutchmen. It has been a couple years since I have seen any of their products but they are at the bottom of my list as a manufacturer. Although you get what you pay for, more or less, performance is much more important than looks so if one manufacturer's products looks as good or better than the others - stop and think about it as they have cut corners somewhere - hopefully advertising but most likely quality of materials or quality control. RE: Living in TT full time
We stayed in a new 24 ft. TT for two years in one place, hooked it up and drove 1500 miles without a problem. It didn't have a slide but our fifth-wheel did and I would bring it in and out about every three months or so. We spent a couple years in a fifth-wheel in Ozark, AL.
